A Handbook of Local Traditional Healers and Plant based Healing Practices

Recognizing the importance of traditional healing systems and to provide a platform for local traditional healers to showcase their knowledge and skills, the Vaidu Chikitsalaya was launched in the year 2022 serving as a platform to promote traditional healers and their healing practices while creating awareness among the general public. The project aims to elevate status of the traditional healers and create a space for them to share their knowledge with the wider community.

Compendium of Articles

It has been a truly enriching past twelve months for Science & Technology Resource Centre (STRC), Gondwana University Gadchiroli. As we move on to a new year, I can sense, a few significant strides are being taken in the right direction towards realizing STRC as a self-sustainable entity. While on-going initiatives have taken traction, new avenues of collaborative action have emerged. We have just begun to make a mark as an institution with a clear mandate of science and technology based development in the region. I am optimistic about the future, however, I must admit, a lot more effort is required to be put in.
